Register

A map of the area covered by the practice is shown on the map page of this website, and in reception. The practice will register those living within this area who request it, although those moving into residential care would normally register with the GP attached to the home. Due to the increasing demands on primary care and in order to keep the lists open and maintain the current boundaries, we must be strict about practice boundaries and patients moving outside the practice area will be asked to register with a more local GP and will therefore be removed from the practice list.

The practice will also see as temporary residents those who are eligible for NHS treatment and are staying with registered patients for a limited period. Temporary patients can be seen for urgent medical problems which have arisen during their stay or for the management of ongoing chronic conditions.

For visitors from abroad not eligible for free NHS treatment, there is a scale of fees which is displayed in the waiting room. (A list of who is eligible for NHS care is also available.)
