GP Registrars & F2 Doctors

BACK TO MAIN INDEX

GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors working within the practice under the supervision of one of the GP trainers during the final year of a three-year postgraduate GP training course leading to the MRCGP qualification. During this time as part of their assessment they are required to video a number of consultations and the co-operation of patients with this is much appreciated. If you would prefer not to have the consultation recorded please inform the doctor or the receptionist. GP registrars usually change annually, or may be on an accelerated six-month placement.

F2 Doctors are undertaking the Foundation Programme, a two-year, general postgraduate medical training programme which forms the bridge between medical school and specialist/general practice training. During this time as part of their assessment they are required to video a number of consultations and the co-operation of patients with this is much appreciated. If you would prefer not to have the consultation recorded please inform the doctor or the receptionist. F2 doctors usually change every four months.
